Since my birthday is only 3 days before America's birthday, I get to celebrate with America quite often. Nothing better than summer days in the water + summer night skies filled with fireworks. On my birthday, Michael took me to the Crepe Cellar (one of my favorite restaurants in NoDa). We spent the evening relaxing on our deck & then capped off the night watching Robin Hood - Men in Tights ("Mole? I have a mole?").
Michael also got me a new (white) iPhone case. Our phones have jungle fever.
On the Saturday after my birthday, we celebrated with my family on the lake. Kristie, Nathan + Kendra were able to join us. It was such a wonderful day: we spend the afternoon on the lake, floating around, attempting to tube + the evening eating a delicious meal prepared by mama Klebe (and of course incredible wines courtesy of papa Klebe). Unfortunately Michael lost my nice Oakley's in the lake - I dove around like an idiot trying to find them (unsuccessfully of course). We'll just choose to forget about that particular part of the day :)
